corner entertainment center

Project by smiod posted 01-25-2013 02:15 AM 36931 views 1 time favorited 5 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I was tired of the bulky console TV so I built a corner entertainment center. I bought a 46” flat screen tv and a sound bar. It turned out good and takes up a lot less space. I used sketchup a free drawing program by google . It helps me on all my projects. Thanks for looking. used birch plywood and poplar. Poplar is my usual choice of wood when painting.

Very nice! It looks like it really matches the rest of the room too!

I like the recessed panels on the side. nice touch.

Crown is awesome too. It would make a nice picture if you stood back and showed the matching fireplace mantle.
Did you build that too?

sweet project!

Hope this piece of information will be useful for all those who are searching for new home designs. I like the TV area. If possible share more designs here. I am waiting for your updated post to know more. Thank you.
