Living room kitchen gut job

I purchased this house when I was young and stupid, which in the end paid off for me. It took me nearly 15 years just to get to this major project and many migraines to follow. This project entailed gutting an old bedroom, bathroom, the living area and a tiny kitchen. The kitchen was moved and new plumbing run to it. The floor was fixed to bring it back to level and tiled with 16×16 porcelain. All hickory cabinets were installed with a porcelain countertop. The old kitchen became the laundry/bathroom. The living room had all of the old paneling removed, a large opening cut into it to the staircase and a new cedar ceiling installed. All rooms have new insulation, windows and drywall.

NICE look. It’s amazing what you can do with an old house and some good ideas. This one is amazing!

Excellent work. It’s rewarding when you see the transformation.

Nice work. I like the openness, and of course the hickory cabinets are awesome! Good job.

I like the cabinet work. Did you do make these yourself? I love the knotty pine, T&G finish on the ceiling. Impressive work.
