House Front Makeover

WOW!! You did a great job on this. The object is to make a house look like it has never been worked on. You have succeeded. It looks like it was built this way originally.

Thanks. I’ll tackle the driveway side next spring. I got a few ideas to cook up over the winter.

Definite curb appeal! Great job. Looks like you even put in a bigger window (on the left); I hate re-doing window frames so kudos for you on follow through and dedication!

Thanks. Actually both windows are larger, one bigger than the other, though. The house was built in 1878 and slid across Georgian bay in 1912 when the timber industry was winding down here in Waubaushene, Ontario. Everything is balloon framing and nothing is very plumb. It presented a lot of challenges. It is a work in progress.
