My daughter Denise and I did this ourselves last weekend. I can’t wait for Spring to get here so we can get to the river and start working on the cabin again. But my husband has been working alot of overtime, so last weekend I went out there and bought the luan for the floor and laid it myself with my daughter without telling him. He was surprised when he seen the pictures and happy since he doesnt have to move all that furniture to do this. I came close to getting it to fit in the closet, but not close enough. I’m going to do those two piece over, because I am very anal.
I’m not sure when we will lay the actual floor yet. Might just stain this and varnish it for awhile so it can at least be mopped.

looks good…......it should hold up for a while….....try not getting it to wet…...what kind of flooring are you going to put down over the top of it?

I’m not sure yet, but probably laminate snap lock. I’m alittle leary of ceramic tile because we are on stilts and the old cabin has settled over the years, floors down there arent what they use to be.

Nicely done. Your husband is a lucky man. It’s quite a sense of satisfaction relaxing in a room where you can see and enjoy your own handy work.
