March 31, 2008
This winter our upstairs bath/shower area developed a leak and so we had to rip out the walls to find the problem.
Since we were going to have to repaint one section of the bathroom, I figured that it was the perfect time to paint the entire room.
I love bright and sunny and so I made the executive decision to paint it bright “good morning” yellow!
I then set up this little area in the corner, with my heron pictures and a wooden heron statue that I had purchased several years ago.

That is nice, & bright. I’m not a real big fan of yellow, but I do like this shade.
You forgot to mention the Cat! <;o)

oh yes—that cat!!
I think she sees the camera and said “time for my 10 min. of fame”. No matter what I’m taking a picture of, all of a sudden there she is checking out the subject!
I took a picture of my antique china cabinet a couple of weeks ago and of all times, that moment is when she thought it would be a good idea to check it out. It’s been sitting there for months—but bring out the camera and she appears!!
My daughter said the same thing about this colour: she usually hates the yellow people put on walls but this one she likes. It’s Parrot Wing or something.. I guess I just looked out.
Not sure how long it will stay yellow; I prefer the green that I put in the living room.

I see that guard cat you have.
I spend several hours during the spring and summer months at a nearby nature preserve taking pictures of many a blue & white heron. Of course there are always the Bald Eagles, ducks and loads wild flower pictures to take as well.
Love the yellow. My office at home is Bumble Bee Yellow, the brightest yellow I could find.

That looks like the color we painted our laundry room. Sure won’t doze off and forget why you’re in the room.
I think that cat is sneaking up on your heron.

no dozing :)
Although I’m already not noticing the colour except for when I think someone left the lights on- only to find that it’s the paint colour haha.
sneaky cat… I’ll have to check on my heron on a daily basis I guess.
