My Home (not a new project - a continuing project)

Here is a photo of our home when we bought it 11 years ago, and again a couple of years ago. A much more extensive collection of before and after photos# are on my Picasa site. We have only done the exterior, the fireplace, and the master bedroom inside so far. This year we intend to complete the main bath, the hard cover over the deck area, and the office. I’ll add photos as we go.

Nice looking place. I looked at the pictures, but what is the pine louvered box with galvanised roofing?

We live not too far from you, we drive kind of by your place when we go to LAX.

Wow, what a transformation! Looks like a lot of thought and work went into your layout. Keep up the good work, BTKS

Nice improvements, that looks one heck of a window you took on above the garage.

The original windows actually vibrated when trucks would drive down the street. They were large, but very thin. I put in smaller vertical windows to break up the lon horizontal lines of the house. These are thermal-pane with E-coating. The whole house is much quieter.

Great improvement. I went to look at the other pics also. Really nice stuff. Any designers involved or is this all you?

My wife and I come up with ideas, sketch em, and I build them. We each have veto power, and have agreed to agree on any change. She has a degree in design from UCLA, and I have one from Hard Knox U. ;-)
