Enhancement Shelf for a Window Air Conditioner

We recently bought a new window air conditioner.

The window opening is 43” wide, wider than the accordion extensions that come with the unit.

I cut some plywood inserts in order to fill the gap on each side.

Our window protrudes out like a bay window,

so I thought it would be a nice place to make a shelf.

The shelf kind of camouflages the AC, & we can always use more shelves for projects.

I used some leftover birch plywood, & some Jatoba, Brazilian Cherry flooring for the facia.

This Air conditioner is one of the best and one of the most reliable source of air conditioner. I use it air conditioner for http://www.ninjaessays.org/, and they are amazing source. I think that people should buy it more.
