My First Tile Backsplash

This is the first tile backsplash I have done. The bare walls behind the counters were just not that nice to look at and the wall behind the cooktop was accumulating oil and other splatters that were hard to clean. I had done a few small floor tiling jobs in the past so knew a little about tiling. I convinced my wife to let me give it a go. I borrowed a nice wet saw and kept my fingers crossed.

I’ll have to try the keeping the fingers crossed technique – it certauinly worked for you!
Nice job

Looks great. That really adds the “custom” look to your kitchen.

Good choice of tile it brought the light color from the floor to blend with light tile on backsplash. The more tan backsplash tile complements the cabinets. This was a major improvement over the white wall. Nicely executed.
