These are beautiful. I really like the contrasting walnut strips. How is the center post built? Is it a metal pole with a wood wrap or is it a solid oak post?

Beautiful! If there’s one thing I regret about living in a single story house, it’s that I don’t have a reason for a spiral staircase.

Wow! That’s incredible. Nice job on the handrail. What is the thickness of each handrail strip and how did you work with such long pieces?
