Bathroom from guts to glory

This is our downstairs bathroom, another one of the projects the former homeowner started and never finished. I think he either ran out of money or just liked to destroy things. We ordered the stone sink direct from China, which was a nerve wracking experience but worked out very well. It was quite the adventure to get the hardibacker behind the shower to mate up properly with the sheetrock. Lots o’ mud. This project also involved hanging a door, which was a first for me and much harder than I thought.

Very nice stone sink. I like the contrast with dark cabinet. Good job.
