It has come a long way since is original build as just a bar on a patio that we had just done and then build the deck… Now a nice place to relax in and have a few drinks… (good thing is not too far to walk home :-) )

We were going for the modern rustic look, modern with the finished painted look, but rustic since we used ply and not gibb, and did not fill in any of the imperfections etc… instead of filling any gaps in between the ply joins we used thin strips of wood etc… We believe we achieved the look…

You can follow the whole thing here on our web page.

A quick view of the bar here on youtube

The finished product for the bar looks amazing from the outside! I would have thought that you might need to have a bit more of a water proof coveringfor the insides of the shelves though, considering how much liquid stuff you’ve got moving around in there!

The benchtop and (bar top) are actual bench tops that are regularly oiled and waxed… as for under shelves it is all are treated so a bit of liquid or alcohol is not going to harm it, and will eventually get a coat of something…

It is kinda why I say 99% finished.. ;-)

Drywall is boards of squeezed gypsum mortar between overwhelming paper. Drywall is otherwise called plasterboard, wallboard and gypsum board. In examination with other development materials, for example, mortar, drywall is significantly less demanding to work with and this is one major motivation behind why such a large number of representatives and friends proprietors incline toward it. Working with drywall is really 5 to 8 times speedier than utilizing other development materials website
