I recently had a 20 year tenant (yes, you read correctly) move out of the first floor of my duplex apartment. The kitchen and bath etc. were original from 1975, so it was time to remodel the entire unit. I gutted the kitchen and added Maple cabinets, laminate counters, and a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and over the range microwave. I added laminate flooring throughout the rest of the apartment. Always difficult balancing budget and time constaints for the rental market. Hoping to get another twenty or so trouble free years out of it. Took 7 weeks of nights and weekends (after getting home from my full time job) and my brother/partner helped on the weekends since he lives out of state. The middle pic is one of two bedrooms and the right is the living room with new front door. It was fun.

Nice job. It looks like an updated and modern apartment now. I bet a lot of renters will be pleased to call it home.
