So we got a quote to build a new house . . . 350 grand. Nope, might as well fix the old one!
I already posted the first floor gut and rebuild, which was actually the second part of this project. Needless to say, we were the center of attention when the walls came tumbling down!

Don’t think you could have built the quoted house for half. First, the new house quote was for a pretty big one with two units. One for me, and one for a handicapped elderly person that I care for, and of course, my three car garage between the two units, of which there would have been living space for my unit above the garage. You know how dreams go . . .
