After receiving such warm greetings from many of the members here I thought I would post a picture of the 3rd room in my house to be updated. My hubby already pulled out the molding, closet bars, shelves and carpeting. Then he painted the room. In the picture, he and my youngest son are putting down laminate flooring. After they complete that, my husband will paint and install new floor moldings. They are actually exactly the same as the old stuff. I could’t alk the hubby into something different. I also really wanted crown molding, but unfortuanetly it just doesn’t go with the syle house I have (southwestern). After this is completed we will have some one come in to install a closet system and the this room is pretty much done except for furnishing/wall hangings and lighting.

Well Lori, that husband of yours is quite a guy. I would hang onto this HRer.

Can’t wait to see more.

Thanks for the post.

Thanks, my husband is really a great guy. Just to make sure things are clear, the guy you see clearly in the picture is my youngest son. The guy you can barely see because he is blocked by my son is my husband.

Hey DustyGirl, I agree 100% about the carpet. I only have one room left in my house with carpeting. That is the master bedroom. Which will also be redone, but that one is going to be a bear to tackle. When we take everything out of that room the family room will have to be set up as the bedroom. I will then have to watch nite time tv in the den because my husband goes to bed early and I stay up. The TV really bothers him, especially if I am up and down with my girls (my 13lb cat and 6lb dog). It also means he will have to break down and buy another tv because there is no way to move the one we have. LOL.

Hey girls….. the only problem with all wooden floor is the sound. Try a 4000 sq ft of wood floor and 11 children. So we are trying to make up with more window covering.
