I didn’t have time to make a new project for this contest.
I found this little guy rotting away in our backyard.
The poor guy lost his right paw. The ants took over, & ate too much of him.
He’s carved from an old Cottonwood tree, which isn’t too weather resistant.
Besides being a delicacy for the ants. LOL
He must be about 20 years old now. That’s kind of old for a bear.
He’s still faithfully watching over our backyard.
Barb, used to put a tassel cap, & scarf on him in the winter.

he’s “scary” cute :)
Did Barb ever put a Hallowe’en mask on it? That would be funny as well.

Thank you Dennis!
He once had a varnished finish, & later on I painted it black.
Now it has a combination of everything, plus rotting wood. LOL
