One month after buying land, we have our walls framed up.
Going into this project I knew it was going to be a very involved process. With all the planning we put into this, it amazes me how many changes we’ve made along the way and how much I could not perceive before actually getting into the project. Fortunately, I think we’ve made some significant decisions that have turned out for the better. Some I was simply forced into.
The rain keeps pushing my dry-in date out. Maybe by this weekend….

Alright, this rain is getting very annoying… and pushing me closer to winter. It seems I’m getting rained out 3 days a week since I started. You’d think I live in Portland, not Missouri. I’m still waiting to finish the trusses.

We get a lot of rain here in the UK and I sympathize with you. There will always be unseen changes to be made (you cannot plan this) and it is always nice to learn something new while on the go. Excellent work being done looking at the picture. Do you have an update for us? Please share your progress so we can see what has entailed since your last post.
