Grew up loving making things out of wood, from play swords to tree houses. When it was summer break from school, we (the neighborhood boys) we would all be in the woods. Working on our so called fort, we learned how to use knives and hatches as we as axes, to fell some trees and improve on our fort.
Through High School, I loved working in the wood shop. I believe the first project I made was a end table out of cedar and maple. Then we got to use the lathe and make a 12 inch bowl out of walnut.
Had a twenty-one year layoff, while I served and retired from the Marine Corps. While I'm finally getting some little free time and am able to start to enjoy one of my Love's, "WoodWorking".
I am trully looking for this new adventurer as a member of the Home Refurbers, as we are doing some remodeling in our OLD House and will be looking forward to discover all types of Tips, and Idea's to assist in my remodel.
