Our home is finally paid for. Now we can afford to start fixing it up, if we do the work ourselves. Built in 1932, this old Florida home needs some TLC. The woodwork I am pretty comfortable with. It's all that cloth covered (if I'm lucky) electrical wiring stuff and plumbing that scare me. Still, we're in no hurry, just enjoying the ride. It is satisfying to complete a project and know that you learned something along the way.
