Just this last fall we finished what turned into a 3 year remodel. Demoed the whole center of the house to the sub-floor and built a 900 sq. ft. great room (living, dining, kitchen) and a 340 sq. ft. porch. We had the help of a contractor however, I was hands on for the whole project. I knew nothing about construction or woodworking before all of this but now have the interest and confidence to tackle almost anything.
Now the rest of the house needs remodeling and I am looking forward to getting ideas from fellow Refurbers and to share anything I can.
