Complete House Remodel.... #2: And the walls come down

After the clean up we put 2 heavy coats of Dry-Loc on all the basement walls, there were signs of water but I think most of that was due to not having any gutters on the house and the grade slants towards the house…..

After that we took all the walls down and had one big 1650 sq ft room up stairs with a matching 1650 room downstairs….the old houses here in Oak Ridge do not have any bearing walls, so you can move them anywhere you want and the great thing is that the hardwood floors run under all the walls as well…...
