« Part 1: Pictures... Part 2 of 1928 American Foursquare home series Part 3: Kitchen Demolition »

Well, My wife and I just purchased another house. It is a 1928 American Foursquare home that sides more with the craftsman style. We purchased this home in an Historic District that is full of wonderful architecture. This house needs a lot of work. As you will see from the photos I have now and the many more to come. I will keep this blog updated throughout the project. We do not officially close on the property until January 20th so I have a little time before you start to see real work. Anyone who has ever done a complete home remodel knows there is still a lot of stuff that needs to happen before first day of demolition can begin.

Here’s a quick list of what’s going to happen. – Gut the kitchen and laundry room to the studs – Repair plaster and trim work in living room and dining room – Add a powder room downstairs – fix all windows – Refinish hardwood floors – remodel bathroom upstairs – Add 2 zone HVAC – Paint entire house

Thats just a few things….We will get detailed as it all begins.
